Thus, Beverly Hills Cop II got released in 1987, and the character Detroit cop Axel Foley was again portrayed by Eddie Murphy where he once again went west to help solving a crime. Murphy, or Foley, wore a Detroit Lions jacket that is surely one of the most stylish outerwear in the memory of anyone who has seen the movie.
